About LESCO:

On March 22, 1998, the Lahore Electric Supply Company, or LESCO, was founded. It was developed to separate the functions of power generation, transmission, and distribution in order to reduce the WAPDA load and increase efficiency. As a subsidiary of the Pakistan Electric Power Company (PEPCO) and overseen by the National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA), LESCO’s main responsibility is to distribute electricity throughout Lahore and the adjacent areas. Taxes of LESCO:

In addition to the electricity costs, LESCO also adds a number of taxes, which raises the overall bill amount. These taxes consist of the following: General Sales Tax (GST), TV Fee, Quarterly Tariff Adjustment (QTA), Fuel Price Adjustment (FPA), Financing Cost Surcharge (F.C. Surcharge), and energy duty., contributing to the total bill amount. These taxes include Fuel Price Adjustment (FPA), Financing Cost Surcharge (F.C.
